We have done the serious planning, used the RACQ trip planner to calculate kms and time for the travel days and researched attractions for the days in between.
Although we have a night on the Gold Coast we are planning to have a wildlife and nature themed trip and so we are avoiding the big theme parks. We plan to do Australia Zoo and Currumbin Sanctuary, several museums (musea?) and Carnarvon Gorge on our way home.
Blogging is such a great idea, everyone can have a peak at your trip. We started because Bruce's Dad was in Paraquad facility, so had his laptop and followed us around the Riverina (ie Janet-land). I hope you have as much fun as we did Donna. It's great to not have to look at your watch!! xx Linda (0:

ReplyDeleteHave a great trip. It can be hard work, but the rewards are terrific... We did 14 months... no kids though makes it much easier. If you are curious we too have a travel blog
